Frequently asked questions

How do I edit a Kick clip?

Open the Studio, paste the clip link or pick it from the library, and edit it on the timeline: trim, split, add captions, music, text and the Kick bar. When you’re done, press “Create video” and download the MP4.

Can I join several Kick clips into one video?

Yes. The “Add clip” button puts another clip at the end of the timeline and keeps everything you had already edited. You can join up to 6 clips, 10 minutes in total.

How do I make a Kick clip vertical for TikTok?

Choose the 9:16 format in the Design tab. The clip fits with a blurred background or cropped to full screen, and you can turn on each network’s safe zones so its interface doesn’t cover your text.

Is the editor free? Does it add a watermark?

It is free and adds no watermark. You can edit without an account; signing in is optional and lets you save your edits in the cloud and use automatic captions.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Editing and exporting happen in your browser, on a computer or on your phone.

Can I edit a video that isn’t from Kick?

Yes. With “Upload video” you can open an MP4 or MOV up to 500 MB and 20 minutes. The file stays on your device and is not uploaded to the server.

What quality does the exported video have?

It exports in H.264 with AAC audio, up to 60 fps, with three quality levels (Standard, High and Maximum) and a size estimate before you create it.

Can I edit from my phone?

Yes. The Studio adapts to the phone screen and can be installed as an app. On a computer you get more room for the timeline.
